• Study Permit Requirement: In most cases, international students need a valid study permit to study in Canada. However, there are exceptions. Citizens of certain countries may be exempt from the study permit requirement if their program of study is less than six months.

• Application Process: To obtain a study permit, prospective international students must apply to the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
